Documentary Video

As with most things ‘film’ there is legacy thinking around documentaries in terms of who can create them and what they are ‘supposed’ to be like.

Well no more. If you’ve got a website, you can be a broadcaster. If you’ve got a website, you can sell DVDs. The broadcast media is going through what print media went through when the internet first mushroomed into being our source of news.

So it’s time to throw out the old paradigms around documentaries. With digital production and web distribution the playing field is open to all. It’s time to ask yourself what documentary you or your company could make. Our rule of thumb is that we want to make documentaries that are part of the solution. So is there a story worth telling that others can learn from?

Has your company had great success in moving to a culture of leader as visionary, as opposed to authority?
Has your company come up with some fantastic initiatives to be more sustainable?
Has your company come up with some great win wins involving working with the local community?
Has your company usefully shifted dynamics between men and women with positive results?
The potential of documentary is limitless. What can your company offer as part of way forward? And how can that offering feed back into the health and sustainability of your company?

We have a number of documentaries in development that all offer ways forward for the human family in the 21st century. We’d like to add yours to this body of work.
